Sunshine Corner / Hope 08 Event

12th & 13th July

This year we had another fantastic couple of days in clifton park, the weather was sunny, people were happy and there was lots of fun and games.

A number of people were asking why Christians were giving their free time to come into the park and entertain strangers, we do it out of complete love, the kind of love that Christ showed us. Jesus would go up to complete stragers and spend time with them like the woman at the well, we wanted to do as Christ does.

Thank you for visiting this site, please come and visit us we would love to see you,

Ken Happs

Ken Happs served as an elder within the Elim Christian Centre for 21 years, being part of the Leadership during several ministers.

Over that period he and his wife Elaine were faithful, committed and loyal to the ministers and the fellowship.

He enjoyed serving others but He served because He loved His Lord.

Holding several responsibilities he is a man that was faithful to every task asked of him as ‘unto the Lord’. He is a joy to work with and his

wisdom and humility will be long remembered.

The fellowship honored him and his wife Elaine by gifting them a weekend in London, incorporating a West End Show (Joseph) and also

a surprise party on the Sunday evening when Ken thought he was to speak.

Our fellowship appreciates Ken loyal service and looks forward to seeing him remaining active in our fellowship.
