March 2010
Dear All,
Over the past few weeks, the winter Olympics have been taking place in Vancouver, USA and very soon the England Football team will be embarking upon another adventure into the FIFA world cup finals in South Africa.
It therefore follows that in these sporting areas people are working together as teams to endeavour to be and do the best that they can for their country. In the same way as Christian People that God has placed here at the Elim Christian Centre, we are working together for the purposes of God and His Kingdom. We want to be the best that we can, and do the best for the Lord.
May I encourage you to keep on being close to God and serving Him and His purposes through Rotherham Elim?
Over the next few weeks, as you will be aware we will be beginning work on the front entrance extension. Please bear with us during this time of construction and please be careful around the building site.
The project costs are £32,000, and we will be paying part of the amount from our existing savings, and then taking a loan out for the balance. Our aim will be to pay off this loan as soon as possible. To that end may I inform you that we plan to hold a GIFT DAY on SUNDAY MARCH 28th. All monies received on that day will go towards our building project. Please pray about and prepare for this GIFT DAY. As always any monies can be gift aided.
Thanks for your support in this matter
May God richly bless each one as we enter these spring months which are very welcome!
